Vortex Catching System
The Dixie Chopper Vortex F5 and F2 is the new grass removal system from Dixie Chopper. Vortex by definition means a whirlpool, a whirlwind, anything like a whirl in its rush, catastrophic power. With a whopping 20 cubic feet of capacity (16 bushels) and a velocity of 1200 cubic feet per second you can see why we chose the name Vortex for this massive machine. The Vortex F5 comes with a dump from the seat stainless steel hopper and a replaceable 10-gauge sand liner. (3/12/08 UPDATE) Fits all models excluding 34 SilverEagle, IronEagles, and XCalibers. 2004 or older will not fit without modifications. Please specify deck size when ordering. OCDC
Allows the user to manually open and close the side of the deck. This stops most objects from being thrown by the blades. It works great for mowing around objects such as mulch beds or houses.
