Morgan, Dixie Chopper Commit To Road Trip To Share Program

If this is Tuesday, this must be … Cincinnati … or Philadelphia … or Nashville … or Tulsa … or Decatur.

Well, it will be at least one of those places over the next five weeks as the Dixie Chopper Commitment 2010 road show is under way. Dixie Chopper President and CEO Gary Morgan will be logging more than 6,000 miles on truck and trailer through the end of September as he conducts 22 meetings in 17 states to spread the gospel of the Commitment 2010 dealer program.

Morgan kicked things off on Monday, Aug. 24, hosting 23 Indiana area dealers at the Dixie Chopper Business Center in Greencastle, Ind. While that session was on Morgan and Dixie’s home turf, the real road show began on Tuesday, Aug. 25 in Cincinnati.

Entering the 2010 model year, Morgan expressed enthusiasm in sharing details of a new dealer sales and service agreement, new accounts receivable handling methods, new parts and shipping prioritization and Commitment 2010 product ordering goals and procedures.

Three new Dixie Chopper models were also introduced at the meeting  – the new Magnum commercial series mowers, the CNG-powered Eco Eagle and a diesel mower powered by CAT. Dealers had the opportunity to fire up the new mowers and take them for a brief spin during the lunch break.

Either Regional Manager Warren Evans or Tom Durham will join Morgan for subsequent meetings, along with the territory manager from each area. Audra Hanson of the MoJack company will also attend each meeting to brief dealers on her company’s product.
