Drag Racer T.J. Schippling Visits Dixie Chopper Indiana Facilities

Canadian drag racer T.J. Schippling, who drives the Lucas Oil/Dixie Chopper dragster, visited Dixie Chopper facilities recently.

A 31-year-old native of Shakespeare, Ontario, Schippling competes on the IHRA, NHRA and Top Dragster circuits.

Accompanied by Media Marketing Manager Rick Judy, Schippling and neighbor Paul Baechler (who often mows Schippling's grass with his Dixie Chopper during racing season) toured Dixie Chopper facilities in Fillmore and Greencastle, Ind., on April 2.

"We really enjoyed ourselves and appreciate it," Schippling said in an e-mail after returning home to Canada. "We were talking all the way home about the noticeable quality of your product."

Dixie Chopper is Schippling's secondary sponsor again this year, as it has been since 2005.

In fact, the drag racer lists his most memorable moment as his "first win in the Lucas Oil/Dixie Chopper dragster during the 2005 season."

Asked his favorite thing about drag racing, Schippling responded: "Driving fast cars and winning races. I have met some really great people through racing and I enjoy their company."
